Sometimes when I am looking for a new piece for date night I like to find something that is trendy and easy to wear but something that has some details to it. I think it makes your simple outfit really interesting and that is why I am loving this top from Romwe.

Not only is it off the shoulder (always a “yay!”) but the details on the top are simply stunning. Would you even believe me if I told you it was $13?? It looks way more expensive. It is semi sheer but not see through. I wore a normal strapless bra with it and you could not see anything at all. It looks so pretty paired down with a cutoffs and sandals! I am obsessed with it. I am wearing a small for reference.

I am trying to get as many summery posts in as I can and I could not pass up the opportunity to wear these sandals. Sadly they are an inspiration sample from when I used to work in the fashion industry but I linked similar ones in the style details.  One of the many perks I miss from working in Product Development!

I love how dainty these pretty little gold midi rings are. They aren’t bulky and add that little touch of gold that this outfit needed. AND THEY ARE $5.

Again how is this top only $13? I wore it on a pretty warm day and it is so airy and thin that it did not bother me. I am looking forward to wearing it in the fall too with a pair of dark skinny jeans and peep toe booties and adding a dark earring and suede bag to transition this top to the cooler weather months!

One of my favorite things to wear is stripes. It should really be its own color. I do not think you can go wrong with stripes because in my opinion it is the most classic print. This weekend I did a huge closet cleanse and am starting to realize more and more that my style is gearing towards more classic and timeless colors and pieces rather than bold color. However, that does not mean boring! I like to add interesting details and touches to outfits that may be neutral in color but are anything but vanilla in style. This top is just that and it is only $28.  I am wearing an XS.

IMG_2032          I can’t get over the sleeves on this top! They are full and flowy but do not get in the way at all because they are light. I love how the full sleeve and bodice balances out the off the shoulder neckline. This top NEEDED a skinny skinny jean otherwise the body will be lost in fabric.

IMG_2007The hemline is the other design detail that attracted me to this top. It is longer in the back than it is on the front and it just added a little something different. It has gorgeous details everywhere!

As I mentioned on Instagram last week, I made this choker. It was SO EASY. I dragged the kids to Michaels and picked out a nude suede cord. I brought it home and cut it to size by wrapping the super long cord around by neck. I then steamed it straight because it was really kinked up from being wound in the packaging. I then looped it around my neck twice then knotted it and that was it!

The day I took these photos I got my haircut and my stylist was trying to convince me to chop it and add some lighter pieces! I  think I might go for it in the Fall! What do you think???

As always, I appreciate you all reading and following along!

This week I decided to round up some things I have been loving recently; kind of like an actual testimonial post. After all, I hope that is why you are following and reading; because you connect with my style and hopefully look forward to posts! This post contains everything- fashion, beauty, food (aka wine), home decor and littles!

1. The Essie Gel nail polishes. I do not think I am going to buy regular nail polish anymore. These really do stay on so much longer and continue to stay shiny! Make sure to grab the top coat too!

2. This red wine. I am not a wine snob by any means but I have been known lately to pour out a glass if I am trying something new at home. I LOVE this one. What are your favorite reds??

3. Cut out booties. Again very transitional because they can be worn now and through the Fall. I just got these from TJ Maxx!  I also love this pair!

4. One shoulder asymmetrical tops will quickly become Fall’s off the shoulder top, but I have a feeling off the shoulder is here to stay too. I am loving this one and this one!

5. Need I say ripped jeans? Or is that a given? Either way, I have my eye on this pair!

6. Velvet fabrics for fall. So lush and it can take any simple outfit to glam in seconds. How cute are these skinnies?

7. This matte lipstick from MAC. Velvet Teddy is typically my go to but lately I find myself grabbing the Faux for during the day!

8. I cannot get enough of HIIT and Bootcamp gym classes. I belong to a gym but if I can’t get there or we are at my parent’s beach house for the weekend I like to get a work out in. I will share my go to routine soon!

9. Zara has amazing clothes for kids right now, especially girls. I just grabbed Blaire this top and want this one too!

10. I got a sample of Korres Black Pine Night cream and I am addicted. It smells heavenly and immediately hydrates my skin making it so soft!

11. I have my eye on chunky throw blankets to fill my house with for the fall and winter. I have a fur throw obsession and want to add some texture by including a knit throw. This one looks so cozy!

12. Camo. I want camo everything and I cannot explain why! I am looking for an overnight bag for Everett but haven’t found any I love yet. But for me, I want this for a carry on bag!

I hope you all have a great weekend! We are heading out for a mini getaway to a casino!
